Mr. Andrew George Petrosky Sr. of Glen Spey, NY, died Friday, March 26, 2010 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. He was 53.
He was born May 30, 1956 in Tuxedo, NY the son of the late Andrew and the late Mae Benjamin Petrosky.
He proudly served our country in the United States Army in the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Red Hawk Warrior Society.
A family statement read:” He was a loving, caring father, husband and friend who will be severely missed by all who knew and loved him. Have a gentle rest. You were loved and will be missed.”

Michael Petrosky of Upstate, NY
Daryl J. Petrosky and his companion Heather of Glen Spey
4 Daughters: Tammy L. Petrosky Faulkner and her husband Pat of Highland Mills, NY
Savanah Petrosky and her companion Jason Blue of Charlotte, NC
Sara Petrosky of Monroe, NY
Jenn “daughter he never wanted” and her husband Ray Anderson of Liberty, NY
1 Brother: Art of Middletown, NY
3 Sisters: Laura and Loretta of Arlington, TX
Elizabeth of Tulsa, OK
7 Grandchildren: Andrew, Henry, Grace, Kyle, Samantha, Ezra and Hunter.
Also several nieces and nephews.
He also left behind Dixie and Magic.
He was predeceased by his beloved dog Whiskey.
The family is inviting friends to celebrate Andrew’s life at their home on Saturday, April 3, 2010 beginning at 12noon at 466 Decker Rd., Glen Spey, NY 12737.
Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 5:00pm.
Cremation will be held at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Castle Point VA Food Pantry, VAHVHCS Castle Point, NY 12511 or the Rolling Thunder Chapter 4, P.O. Box 338, Youngsville, NY 12791.
