Viola Mae "Vi" Sanborn

Mrs. Viola Mae Vi Sanborn of Port Jervis, NY, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. She was 82.
She was born January 29, 1930 in DeRuyter, NY the daughter of the late Harry and the late Pheobe Johnson Cosilmon.
She was married to her husband John J. Sanborn on May 8, 1954 in Binghamton, NY.
She was a member of St. Marys R.C. Church in Port Jervis.
She worked as a School Bus Driver for the Port Jervis City School District for many years.

Surviving are:
Her loving husband of 58 years John J. Sanborn at home.
2 Sons: James Sanborn and his companion Eileen of Phoenix, AZ
John R. Sanborn of Cedar Grove, NJ
3 Daughters: Barbara Gerken and her husband Paul of Fort Wayne, IN
Kathleen Schroeder and her husband Joe of Giddings, TX
Teresa Loughrey and her husband Bob of Cedar Grove, NJ
1 Brother: Kenny Cosilmon and his companion Sandy of Colesville, NY
1 Sister: Esther Franklin of Oxford, NY
17 Grandchildren
11 Great Grandchildren
Also nieces and nephews
She was predeceased by her brother Howard Cosilmon and her two sisters Mildred Cady and Dorothy Noti.

Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, INC. 100 East Main Street Port Jervis on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 with a 9:15am prayer at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Marys R.C. Church, 46 Ball St., Port Jervis.

Cremation will be at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Vi to CurePSP (Progressive SupraNuclar Palsy), 30 E. Padonia Road, Suite 201, Timonium, MD 21093.
