Mr. Joseph L. ‘Joe’ Allam of Jersey City, NJ a retired accountant with Kolmar Labs, Port Jervis and former resident of Port Jervis, died Monday, April 3, 2006 at Jersey City Medical Center after a brief illness. He was an energetic involved 79 year old.
He was born January 10, 1927 in New Brunswick, NJ the son of the late Mahanna Allam and the late Victoria Basile Allam Susan.
He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a graduate of Rutgers University with dual degrees in Political Science and Business Administration.
Loved ones include, daughters, Barbara Allam Noel and her fiancee, Mark Kuschel of Clearwater, Fla., Dr. Constance Noel Allam of Santa Cruz, Calif, Leila Allam & her husband, Bruce DeAngelo of Sparrowbush and longtime love, Sandra Delacey of Greenwich Village, NY

Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis on Saturday, April 8, 2006 2 to 3PM

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 3:00 PM at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Huston officiating.

Burial will immediately follow at Quarry Hill Cemetery, Rio, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Port Jervis where Joe was an ordained Elder; the Salvation Army which he generously supported or the Boy Scouts where Joe attained the rank of Eagle Scout and later served as a leader.
