Mr. Frank J. Weiss, Jr. of Port Jervis, NY retired owner and president of Weiss' Laurel Grove Greenhouses which is the second oldest business in Port Jervis and lifetime resident of the area, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Milford Senior Care & Rehabilitation Center. He was 92.
He was born April 3, 1914 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of the late Frank J. Weiss, Sr. and the late Elizabeth T. McGovern Weiss.
A veteran of WW II, he served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Tri-States Naval Ship VFW Post No. 7241, Port Jervis.
Frank married Marion B. Niermeyer Weiss on October 21, 1939 who survives at Twin Cedars Assisted Living Center, Shohola, PA.
2 daughters: Judith Weiss of Port Jervis, NY and Teena DeRosa and her husband, Lou of E. Windsor, NJ.
1 Sister, Kathleen MacKechnie of Bethlehem, PA
2 grandchildren: Jordan Schulman of Chicago, IL and Alexis DeRosa of E. Windsor, NJ.
Also Nieces And Nephews.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Carli Elizaberth Schulman on May 29, 2004 and a sister, Claire Gleason.

Graveside services and burial will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 11:30 am at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, PA. with Rev. Betsy Diver officiating
