Mystic, CT and formerly of Port Jervis, NY
Mrs. Fannie Pirotta of Mystic, CT, a former resident of Port Jervis and Highland Falls, NY, died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Mystic Manor Nursing Home, Mystic, Ct. She was 91.
She was born March 13, 1915 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Carmella Puccirella Ricciardi.
She was the widow of Emanuel M. Pirotta; he died July 14, 1992.
She was a former member of St. Mary’s R. C. Church and a former member of Catholic Daughters Of Americas, Court Madonna No. 114, Port Jervis. She was also a former Girl Scout Leader and Council member for many years in Port Jervis, Grey Lady Hospital Volunteer and had been a child caregiver at West Point.
Fannie was an excellent cook and was a loving and giving mother and friend to all, and always with a smile on her face.
She is survived by her three daughters, Catherine Westfall of Port Jervis, Mary Ann Hendrick of New London, Ct. and Fran Wiehn of Mystic, CT.
3 sisters: Mary Hurl of Philadelphia, PA, Rose Marioni of Matamoras and Katherine Rybak of Port Jervis.

She was predeceased by her two brothers, Anthony and Patsy Ricciardi and a sister, Josephine Connelly.
Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis on Thursday, October 12, 2006 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2006 with a prayer at 10:15 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Mary's R.C. Church with Rev. August A. Ricciardi officiating.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.
