Mr. Charles J. Storms, 79, of Port Jervis, NY retired from Joyland Scrap Metal and lifetime resident of Port Jervis, died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Bon Secours Community Hospital.
He was born August 23, 1927 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late Joseph and the late Pauline Morgan Storms.
He wan an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Hummel Storms at home. His son, Charles J. Storms, Jr. of Bloomingburg, NY. His step-son, Moses Storms of State of Florida and his step-daughter: Linda Marie Schultz of Nashville, TN.
2 brothers, Moses Storms of Cuddebackville and Richard Storms of Kansas City, KA.
Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Oscar Storms and two sisters, Sara Hill and Doris Quick.
Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis on Friday, November 10, 2006 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis with Rev. Albert Perreault officiating.
Burial will be at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY.
