| | | Evaristo Arguelles 65, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Sunday, April 06, 2008 at his rural Red Lake Falls home surrounded by his loving family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, April 11, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Antony Fernando presiding. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, St. Hilaire.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Service, Red Lake Falls, MN and also at the church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Evaristo Arguelles was born February 8, 1943 in Mexico, the son of Antonio and Juanita (Medina) Arguelles. He was baptized in Mexico and confirmed in the Catholic Faith. He grew up and attended school in Texas.
In March of 1965, Evaristo was united in marriage to Angelita Martinez in Brownsville, TX. He worked as a farm laborer.
Evaristo enjoyed hunting and fishing. He spent most of his time listening to music, seeing movies and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by his wife, Angelita, Red Lake Falls, MN; 8 children, Evaristo Jr., Red Lake Falls, MN, Imelda (Carlos) Martinez, Red Lake Falls, MN, Lina Arguelles, Oklee, MN, Ana Maria (Dale) Caswell, Red Lake Falls, MN, Cristina Arguelles, Crookston, MN, Esmeralda (Desi) Oviedo, Lyford, TX, Adriana (Ramon) Ramirez, Red Lake Falls, MN and Adrian (Alecia) Arguelles, TX; 27 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; 5 brothers; 2 sisters.
He is preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers and a sister.
