| | | Steven Aubol, 47, died Monday, September 20, 2004 at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.
Steven Aubol was born April 18, 1957 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN the son of Chester and Pauline (Senart) Aubol. He was baptized on June 15, 1957 in Michigan, ND by his grandfather, and confirmed on May 6, 1972 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. Steve graduated Lincoln High School in the Class of 1975 and then attended Northland College where he enjoyed taking auto mechanic courses.
On June 13, 1989 Steven was united in marriage to Laurie Dumas and to this union a daughter Nicole Jean Aubol was born.
Steve began working at Handy Farms in 1975; he later went to work for Torque Industries and Hydra Mac all in Thief River Falls. Steve then moved to Grafton, ND where he worked for Hart Industries and AlChem. He also worked for an agriculture machine shop in Minto, ND. Following the flood in Grand Forks, Steve helped build the dikes in East Grand Forks. In the summer of 2004 Steve began work with Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls where he worked in snowmobile assembly.
Steve enjoyed woodworking and repairing cars and motorcycles. He was a person who thrived working on anything mechanical.
He was a member of the Eagle’s Club in Grafton, ND.
Survivors include his parents, Chester and Pauline Aubol of Thief River Falls, MN; daughter, Nicole Jean Aubol and her mother, Laurie Jean Aubol both of Greeley, CO; sister, Lois Ann (Kevin) Reff of Fergus Falls, MN; niece, Jennifer Reff at Drake Univ. in Des Moines, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Genevieve Dougherty of Fredericksburg, VA, Lois (Jim) Wise of Fountain, CO, Arnie (Alma) Aubol of Seattle, WA, Tina Nelson of St. Cloud, MN, Al (Jean) Senart of CO, and Sylvester (Peggy) Senart of Temple City, CA; and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by aunt, Caroline Habedank; uncle, Aloys Senart; grandparents Arnold and Evelyn Aubol, and Sostene and Mary Senart.
