| | | Gina Lin Anderson, 33, after almost a year long search was found at 12:44 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2009 in Thief River Falls, MN.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. John Voelker, Ph.D. officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service on Monday, October 19, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN.
Gina Lin Anderson was born March 17, 1976 in Thief River Falls, MN the daughter of Steven G. and Judy B. (Thrane) Lappegaard. She was baptized and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. She attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1994. She enjoyed taking business classes at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls, MN and at the University of Minnesota in Crookston, MN.
On June 17, 1995 she was united in marriage to Jeremy T. Anderson at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN. Together they made their home and continued to live in Thief River Falls, MN.
She worked for a short time as a CNA at Oakland Park Nursing Home in Thief River Falls. She then worked for Pennington County Abstract as a closer and most recently worked at Petro Pumper in Thief River Falls.
Gina enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at her Dad’s cabin, spending time at home watching movies, playing bingo, and she loved her six dogs. She enjoyed older people, and was a very giving, thoughtful person. She was loving, kind and would send cards out to her friends and family for every occasion. She enjoyed her travels with Jeremy especially to a warmer climate in Mexico and Jamaica. The focus of Gina’s life was to spend as much time with her family as she could.
Survivors include her husband, Jeremy; parents, Steve and Judy Lappegaard all of Thief River Falls; sister, Jackie (Eric) Pagel and their children, Ethan and Khloe of Minnetonka, MN; grandmother, June Thrane of Thief River Falls; mother and father-in-law, Francis and Marlys Anderson of Thief River Falls; brothers and sisters-in-law, Nathan (Renay) Anderson and Seth (Lisa) Anderson; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and she was a proud Godmother of Codey Johnson, Brady Anderson and Khloe Pagel.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Jill on December 7, 2008; grandpa, Gordon Thrane; uncle, Michael Thrane; and grandpa and grandma, Otto and Deana Lappegaard.
