| | | Jaecob Allen Eggerud, 7 months, died on Friday, October 30, 2009 at his home with his loving parents at his side.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Mark Helgeland and Pastor Sheila Michaels officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Wednesday.
Jaecob Allen Eggerud was born on March 13, 2009 in Thief River Falls, MN. The first 3 letters of his name are his grandpa’s initials. He was diagnosed with spinal muscle atrophy (SMA) at 4 months old. He made a few trips to Gillette Children’s Hospital fighting his illness.
Jaecob loved teddy bears and penguins. He liked being outside and watching the cars go by. He liked listening to music and watching balloons. He was a Minnesota Viking’s fan like his dad. His favorite food was fudge strip cookies.
He is survived by his parents Ryan Eggerud and Stephanie Skoglund of Thief River Falls, MN; and his 6 year old brother Kyler Eggerud, maternal grandparents: Barry & Peggy Skoglund, of Thief River Falls, MN, maternal great grandparents, Roy & Emma Anderson, of Middle River, MN, Vernon & Madelyn Skoglund, of Middle River, MN, maternal aunts and uncles: Stacy (Tim) Granum, Alyssa (Cameron Abrahamson) Granum, Justin Skoglund, all of Thief River Falls, MN, paternal grandmother: Diane Eggerud, of Thief River Falls, MN, paternal grandfather: Ed VandeStreek, of Thief River Falls, MN; paternal aunts & uncles: David (Rachel) Eggerud, of Brooks, MN, Tom (Amy) Eggerud, of Thief River Falls, MN, Kathy (Ryan) Noreikis, of Cohasett, MN, and many cousins.
Jaecob was preceded in death by his grandpa Jean Eggerud, and great grandparents.
