| Ruth V. Ackerly Ruth V. Ackerly, a longtime area resident, entered into rest Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Fishkill Health Center, Fishkill. She was 86.
Daughter of the late Richard and Dora Levitt Lake, she was born July 21, 1916 in Beacon.
She married Lewis Ackerly. Mr. Ackerly preceded her in death.
She was a secretary for Green Fuel Economizer, Beacon.
She is survived by her brother, Harold Lake and his wife, Edna of Beacon; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday, June 13, 2003 at Halvey Funeral Home, 24 Willow Street, Beacon.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, June 14, 2003 at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the family plot in St. Joachim's Old Cemetery, Beacon.
