| Elizabeth "Betty" Exilda Alice Baxtwer Elizabeth "Betty" Baxter, a longtime Beacon resident entered into rest, Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 80.
Daughter of the late Alfred A. and Loretta Lange Comeau, she was born December 2, 1922 in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
She was married to Philip "Chub" Baxter. Mr. Baxter preceded her in death in 1983.
Betty is survived by her children, Philip "Chub" Baxter and his wife, Patricia of Beacon, Diane Fonteneou and her husband, Joseph of Fishkill, and Paul Baxter and his wife, Marion of Beacon; her sister-in-law, Lilian Comeau of Beacon; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2003 from 7-9 pm at Halvey Funeral Home, 24 Willow Street, Beacon. Family and friends are asked to please use the Oak Street Entrance.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, August 2, 2003 at St. Luke's Church, Wolcott Avenue, Beacon.
Interment will follow in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon.
