Philip G. Asper

Philip G. Asper entered into rest Thursday, February 26, 2004 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 64.

Son of the late Guy Asper and Gertrude Helman, he was born August 20, 1939 in New York City.

Mr. Asper proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1959. He was a self-employed Pool Installer.

Survivors include his wife, Marie C. Asper of Beacon; his children, Theresa Sickler of Poughkeepsie, Sarah Solicito of Newburgh, and Jason Asper of Plattekill; brother Joseph Epstein of Beacon and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Philip Asper, II and a daughter, Anna Marie Asper.

Services will be private. Interment will be in the Veteran's Section of St. Joachim's Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon.
