Florence Bingert

Daughter of the late Vincenzo and Madelina Pietrogallo Giordano, she was born on March 18, 1912 in New York City.

She was married to the late Anthony Bingert who preceded her in death on December 11, 1988.

Mrs. Bingert was employed by Bobrich Manufacturing and Lewittes Furniture for many years. She was also a parishioner to the former St. Joachim's Church. Florence enjoyed playing solitaire and crocheting blankets and towels for her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter Evelyn Brown of La Mesa, California; two brothers, Vito Giordano of Montgomery, Alabama and Carmine Giordano of Beacon; four sisters-in-law; three grandchildren, Nolan Brown, Jr., Lisa Lewis and Michael Joseph Brown, all of California; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Dominick, Michael, Bartholemew, Joseph, Anthony and Lewis, and her sister Catherine.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at Halvey Funeral Home, 24 Willow Street, Beacon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Wednesday, November 17, at St. Joachim's, 61 Leonard Street, Beacon.

Interment will follow in St. Joachim's Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon.
