Jaylene Cramer
Jaylene Cramer, a longtime Beacon resident, entered into rest Thursday, September 19, 2002 at Wingate at St. Francis, Beacon. She was 58.
Daughter of the late Gordon and Marjorie Dinan Phillips, she was born February 2, 1945 in Poughkeepsie.
She married John R. Cramer in 1968. Mr. Cramer preceded her in death on Monday, September 16, 2002.
Mrs. Cramer was an Elementary School Teacher for several years in the Haldane and Beacon School Districts. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, the Beacon Boat Club, and the New Hamburg Yacht Club. She was a good neighbor and friend to many.
Survivors include her sons, Christopher Cramer and his wife Arlene of Saratoga Springs and Geoffrey Cramer and his wife Donna of Clifton Park; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michael, Chelsea, Joshua, Zachary and Jacob Cramer.
Visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2002 from 6-9 pm at Halvey Funeral Home, 24 Willow Street, Beacon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Saturday, September 21 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Willow Street, Beacon.
Interment will follow in St. Joachim's Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations on Mrs. Cramer's behalf may be made to American Cancer Society, Vassar Brothers Hospital, 45 Reade Place, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601-3990.
