Barbara Jane Catalano

Barbara Jane Catalano, a longtime resident of Beacon, entered into rest Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 64.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Harriet Embler Vallo, she was born in Newburgh on July 6, 1941. She was married to Joseph Catalano, Jr. Mr. Catalano survives at home.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Catalano is survived by three sons, Daniel, Scott, and Dean Catalano, all of Beacon; two brothers, Joseph Vallo, Wappingers Falls, and Ted Vallo, Peachtree, GA; two sisters, Joan Angot, Hopewell Junction, and Gail Price, Beacon; six grandchildren, Tony and Ashlie Catalano, Alexis Hicks, Josh and Nina Catalano, and Joseph Dean Catalano.

There will be no visitation.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
