Charles R. DelBene, Jr., a resident of Beacon, entered into rest Sunday, March 12, 2006, at his residence. He was born in Yonkers, NY, on January 1, 1962. He was 44. He married the former Lisa J. Miller. Mrs. DelBene survives at home.

He was a partner in Paggi, Martin, and DelBene in Poughkeepsie. He was an active coach with the Beacon Pop Warner Football League, a member of the Beacon Zoning Board, and a parishioner of St. Joachim-St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father and stepmother, Charles and Joanne DelBene, his mother and stepfather, Carol and Eric Goerner, his children, Carissa, Carolann, and Charles "Chas", at home, his brother, John DelBene, Matthew, NC, his sisters, Tina Grover, Hopewell Junction, and Terri Gleason, Valhalla, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive their friends at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon, on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at St. Joachim's, 61 Leonard Street, Beacon.

Interment will follow in St. Joachim's Cemetery, 303 Washington Avenue, Beacon.

Donations in Mr. DelBene's memory may be made to Beacon Pop Warner Football League, PO Box 221, Beacon, NY 12508-0221.
