Margaret P. Badgley
Margaret P. Badgley, a resident of Greensboro, NC, and formerly of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, April 3, 2006, at Friends Home of Guilford, Greensboro, NC. She was 85.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, on July 13, 1920, she was the daughter of George and Roberta Bell Patterson and the stepdaughter of Anna Patterson. She was married on April 27, 1957 in Philadelphia to Donald Badgley, who preceded her in death in June 1988.
She was a graduate of Beaver College and the Nursing School at Temple University and was a member of Mahwenawasigh Chapter NSDAR, Poughkeepsie.
Mrs. Badgley is survived by her three sons, David and his wife, Janice, Hurley, Paul and his wife, Wendy, Burnsville, NC, and George and his wife, Delonda, Greensboro, NC; her sister, Rebecca Lawrence, Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Scott, Steven, Nimon, Vincent, and Ben; and three great grandchildren, Garrett, Ryan, and Mason.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2006, at First Presbyterian Church, 1576 Main Street, Pleasant Valley, with Rev. Wayne Hanrattie officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
