Mildred Daddario
Mildred Daddario, a lifelong Beacon resident, died at her home in Beacon on Saturday, August 19, 2006. She was 91.
Born in Beacon on December 25, 1914, she was the daughter of John and Eva Lee Lucas. She married Louis P. Daddario on November 23, 1935 in St. John’s Rectory, Beacon. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1988.
Mrs. Daddario is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Daddario and Jean Haight and her husband, Robert, all of Beacon; her grandchildren, Mysia Hoogsteden and her husband, Henry, Belleville, NJ, Tal Haight and his wife, Diane, Poughquag, and Marci Keck, and her husband, Mark, Dover, NJ; and her great grandsons, Hayden Keck and Ryan Haight, and her great granddaughter, Morgan Keck. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Elmer and Ira Lee and her sister, Helen Lindsay.
She was a parishioner of St. Joachim-St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon, and a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of St. Rocco’s Society, St. Anthony’s Sodality, and the Third Order of St. Francis.
The family will receive their friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2006, at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, at St. John’s, 35 Willow Street, Beacon.
Interment will follow in St. Joachim’s Cemetery, 303 Washington Avenue, Beacon.
