Michael A. Ciancio, of Verbank and formerly of Beacon, entered into rest Thursday, March 13, 2003 at Sharon Hospital, Sharon, CT. He was 48.

Son of the late Vincent F. and Julia Nastasi Ciancio, he was born July 31, 1954 in Cold Spring.

Michael is survived by his brother, Vincent J. Ciancio and his wife, Laura of Hopewell Junction; four nieces, Melissa Petrucci of Walkill, Jennifer, Trudi, and Melanie Ciancio, all of Beacon; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2003 at Halvey Funeral Home, 24 Willow Street, Beacon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2003 at St. Joachim's Church, Leonard Street, Beacon.

Interment will follow in the family plot in St. Joachim's Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon.
