Raymond Matias
Raymond Matias, a resident of Albany, NY, and formerly of Beacon, died at his home in Albany on Friday, September 19, 2008. He was 42.
Born in Beacon on April 17, 1966, he was the son of Confesor Matias, Beacon, and Aida L. Viera Marcano and his stepfather, Siano Marcano, Fishkill.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Joseph Matias, Wappingers Falls, Siano Marcano and his wife, Jennifer, Fishkill, and Johnnie Matias, Philadelphia, PA; one sister, Linda Matias, Philadelphia, PA; his maternal grandfather, Ramon Viera-Fontanez, Beacon; his former wife, Jennifer Matias, Albany; and several aunts and uncles.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, at St. Joachim’s Cemetery, 303 Washington Avenue, Beacon.
