Lucy T. Piccone
Lucy T. Piccone, a lifelong Beacon resident, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at Elant at Fishkill. She was 97.
Born in Beacon on May 9, 1911, she was the daughter of Donato and Theresa Incornato Tarquini. She married John Piccone, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Plimley and her husband, Ronald, Wappingers Falls; her son, Dominick Piccone and his wife, Sandra, Wappingers Falls; one sister, Lena Prestianni, Beacon; six grandchildren, Andrea Piccone Tormey, Gary Piccone, Michael Piccone, Brian Plimley, William Plimley, and Sharon Plimley Lastowski, fifteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Louis Tarquini, William Tarquini, John Tarquini, and Larry Tarquini, and two sisters, Elizabeth Piccone and Lorraine Prestianni.
Mrs. Piccone was a parishioner of St. Joachim-St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon, and a Life Member of St. Rocco Society Auxiliary.
The family will receive their friends on Thursday, November 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon. Handicap access is via Oak Street.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. John’s, 31 Willow Street, Beacon.
Interment will follow in St. Joachim’s Cemetery, 303 Washington Avenue, Beacon.
