Helen A. Donnelly, a longtime Beacon resident and former resident of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall. She was 77.

Born in Singac, New Jersey on September 4, 1931, she was the daughter of Dominick and Elvira Ruffalo Provenzano. She was a bookkeeper for Alamo Medical Supply in Poughkeepsie and formerly an employee of Beacon Furniture. She was a parishioner of St. Joachim-St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon, a member of Court Liberatta, Catholic Daughters of America, Beacon, and St. Francis of Assisi Lodge 2629, Sons of Italy, Beacon.

Mrs. Donnelly is survived by her daughter, Judith Horn, Lake Forest, IL; her son, John F. Donnelly, Beacon; her brother, Edward Provenzano, California; and her two grandchildren, Anthony and Angela Capolino.

The family will receive their friends on Friday, November 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon. Handicap access is via Oak Street.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, November 15, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist, 31 Willow Street, Beacon.
