Mauricette M. Forzano, a resident of Fishkill, died Friday, January 16, 2009, at her home in Fishkill. She was 71.

Born on November 11, 1937 in Rouen, France, she was the daughter of Paul and Marie Louise Jean Angot. She was married to Michael J. Forzano, who preceded her in death on February 6, 2001.

She retired as a seamstress at S&F Coat Corp., Beacon, and was a self-employed doll maker. She was a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Mrs. Forzano is survived by her son, Michael P. Forzano, Fishkill; her daughters, Mauricette M. Forzano, Oakland, CA, and Micheline Ryan and her husband, Michael, Poughkeepsie; her brother, Paul Angot, Pleasant Valley; her sisters, Marie Antoinette Goodwin, Hopewell Junction, Paulette VanBuren, Fishkill, and Marie Louise Guillotin, Newburgh; her granddaughters, Fiona and Ava Ryan; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Angot.

The family will receive their friends on Monday, January 19, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 pm. at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
