Arthur G. Hanna
Arthur G. Hanna, a lifelong area resident, died Friday, May 1, 2009, at his residence in Wappingers Falls. He was 63.
Born in Beacon on July 10, 1945, he was the son of Arthur and Emily Weinsheimer Hanna. He is survived by his Life Partner and Companion, Debra Blair.
Mr. Hanna was a machinist for Metro North, Conrail, and CSX, Bronx, NY. He was an avid car buff and restorer of old cars.
He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Joyce Madeiros, Sacramento, CA; two daughters, Melanie Hanna, Wappingers Falls, and Lisa Hanna, State of Florida; a sister, Gail Antalek and her husband, Joe, Beacon; and several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Ruth Merando, and brother-in-law, Phil Merando.
The family will receive their friends on Monday, May 4, 2009, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, May 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street, Fishkill.
Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery, Garrison Road, Cold Spring.
