Catherine Crawford Rogler
Catherine Crawford Rogler, a lifelong resident of Beacon until 2007, entered into rest on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Leland Assisted Living, Mesa, AZ with her three loving daughters at her side. She was 89.
The daughter of Alphonse and Mary Mignault, she was born in Beacon on June 10, 1919. She married Samuel J. Crawford, who predeceased her on August 7, 1972, and Leonard Rogler, who predeceased her on December 24, 1985.
Mrs. Rogler worked as a bookkeeper for many years. After her retirement, she volunteered at the former Highland Hospital, Beacon. She was a parishioner of St. Joachim-St. John the Evangelist Church with a strong devotion to her faith. She resided in Mesa for over two years and enjoyed an active lifestyle with family and new friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Mesnick and her husband, Frank, Middletown, Jane Arendt, Mesa, AZ, and Joan Drizos and her husband, Jim, Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren, Kelly, Kevin, William, Timothy, Justin, and Jessica; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m.on July 7, 2009, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 Willow Street, Beacon.
Interment will follow in St. Joachim’s Cemetery, 303 Washington Avenue, Beacon.
Catherine loved her family and will be missed and remembered always.
