Mary L. Wyant, a longtime Beacon resident and recently of Rochester, NY, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Highland Hospital, Rochester.

She was born in Beacon to William and Grace TenEyck Dolson. She married Earl D. Wyant, who preceded her in death on June 17, 1985.

Mrs. Wyant is survived by her son, David A. Wyant and his wife, Diane, Rochester; her brother, William Dolson, Ormond Beach, FL; three grandchildren Maxwell, Matthew, and Melissa; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Earl D. Wyant, Jr.; her brother, Paul Dolson; and her sister, Shirley Rehbach.

The family will receive their friends on Friday evening, July 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon.

A funeral service will be offered on Saturday, July 18, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Edwin Cromey officiating.

Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
