Theresa Mary Rhymer
Theresa Mary Rhymer, a longtime Durham, NC resident and formerly of Beacon, died Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Laurels in Highland Creek, Charlotte, NC.. She was 90.
Born in Beacon on January 25, 1919, she was the daughter of Stephen and Mary Bozick Havran Adamcik. She was married to Edward "Ted" F. Rhymer, who preceded her in death on December 17, 1997.
Mrs. Rhymer was a parishioner of Holy Infant Church, Durham, NC, and St. Joachim-St. John the Evangelist Church in Beacon. She retired from IBM.
She is survived by her son, Norman J. Ritter, and his wife, Nancy, Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, Erin and Jennifer, and one great grandson, Nicholas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, September 16, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joachim's, 51 Leonard Street, Beacon.
Interment will follow in St. Joachim's Old Cemetery, Beacon.
