Stella M. Lucas, a Glenham resident, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 92.

Born in Bridgeport, CT on November 23, 1917, she was the daughter of Antoni and Mary Paul Zaleski. Stella worked as a cafeteria worker in the Glenham Union Free School.

Stella is survived by her son, Ludvick W. Lucas, Glenham; her sister, Edwiga Baldassare, Newburgh; her grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Bartholomew, Monica and Melanie; her eight great grandchildren; and her nephew, Joseph Baldassare.

In addition to her parents, Stella was predeceased by her husband, Ludvick M. Lucas and her son, John E. Lucas, both in 1997.

The family will receive their friends on Monday, October 4, 2010, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon.

The Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in St. Joachim Cemetery, 303 Washington Avenue, Beacon, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Peter T. and Patrick J. Halvey.
