Julia R. Johannets
Julia R. Johannets, a local area resident and former resident of Syosset, NY, died November 25, 2010 at Elant at Newburgh. She was 85.
Born in Baldwin, NY on August 28, 1925, Julia was the daughter of Michael and Mame Pellegrino Belmont. She was married to Philip Johannets. Mr. Johannets preceded her in death in 1976.
Julia is survived by her son, Joseph Johannets, East Greenbush, NY.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers.
The family will receive their friends on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 31 Willow Street, Beacon.
Burial will follow in Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Peter T. and Patrick J. Halvey.
