Marie G. Kelly Vacirca
Marie G. Kelly Vacirca passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh at the age of 78.
Born in the New York City on February 10, 1933, Marie was the daughter of the late John and Mollie Gilroy Kelly. Marie retired as a corrections officer in 1998. She was a parishioner of St. Joachim – St. John the Evangelist Church and a member of several local senior groups.
Marie is survived by her children, Diane Ruggles and her husband, William, Middletown, Kevin Vacirca and his wife, Linda, Beacon and Doreen Evangelista and her husband, Joseph, Peekskill; her grandchildren, Jessica Ruggles, Anthony and Brianna Vacirca, Dominic and Vincent Envangelista.
Marie was predeceased by her former husband, Conrad R. Vacirca, her son, John J. Vacirca and her grandson, Jonathan W. Ruggles.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 31 Willow Street, Beacon.
Interment will follow at St. Joachim Cemetery, 301 Washington Avenue, Beacon.

Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Peter T. and Patrick J. Halvey.
