David J. Williams, Sr. David J. Williams, Sr., age 63, of the Town of Tonawanda, died Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Delhart and Adelta (nee Muchara) Williams and was a veteran of the US Army. He was employed at Walmart in Amherst, and was the brother of the late Michael S. Williams. He is survived by his wife, Doreen (nee Romanchak) Williams; two sons, David (Demetra) Williams, Jr. of Cartersville, Georgia, and Pvt. Samuel L. Williams, US Army, Fort Gordon, Georgia; a daughter, Renee A. Holingbaugh of Tonawanda; and a brother, Dana (Tammi) Iser of Kenmore. Also surviving are six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Tuesday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held at 8 PM Tuesday. Friends invited.
