Mary Louise Peck

Mary Louise (nee McQuilkin) Peck, age 81, of Tonawanda, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born in Hilton, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Amanda Jean (nee Lindsay) McQuilkin and had been a resident of Tonawanda for the past 46 years. She was a member of the Tonawanda Church of Christ and the Tonawanda Senior Citizens, and had been a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Peck enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond I. Peck; her daughter, Denise (James) Turner of North Tonawanda; two sons, Robert (Rita) Peck of North Carolina and James (Susan) Peck of Florida; and a brother, Richard (Gail) McQuilkin of Spencerport. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Kathryn, Timothy, Kenneth, Robert Todd, Courtney, and Amanda; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 PM on Friday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Tonawanda Church of Christ, Delaware and Summit Streets in Tonawanda; the Rev. Kenneth Wood officiating. Friends invited. Interment at Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. If desired, memorials to the American Legion, 60 Main Street, Tonawanda, NY 14150, or the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049, are preferred by the family.
