William C. Keller, Jr.

Civil War Buff

William C. Keller, Jr., age 61, of Buffalo, died unexpectedly, Thursday, November 27, 2008 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born in Buffalo, he was the son of the late William and Ethel (nee Kovach) Keller and was a lifelong resident of Tonawanda. He was employed at the Nabisco Factory before retiring and was a member of the Bakery and Confectionary Workers' Union. Mr. Keller was a Civil War and comic book buff, and loved sports, especially football.

He is survived by two cousins, Clairanne McGuire and Edward C. Benns, both of Tonawanda; and several second and third cousins.

There is no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 28, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2100 Whitehaven Road on Grand Island. Friends invited. Interment at Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda.
