Josephine H. Moreno Josephine (nee Mermon) Moreno, age 79, formerly of Buffalo, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Fairchild Manor Nursing Home in Lewiston, after a long illness. Born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (nee Dural) Mermon and had been a resident of Buffalo for the greater part of her life. She is survived by her son, Robert (Patricia) Moreno of Tonawanda; and her brother, Alfred S. Mermon of Lockport. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where a memorial service will be held at 8 PM Monday; the Rev. Msgr. James Connelly officiating. Friends invited.
