James S. Harmon Loving Father James Sheridan Harmon, age 43, of Tonawanda, died Monday, October 12, 2009. Jim was a lifelong resident of Tonawanda, and a 1984 graduate of Tonawanda High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a devoted father to his four children. He had been the husband of Rebecca (nee Wardour) Harmon. He is survived by his four children, Jaimee Lynn, Nicole Elizabeth, Sean Sheridan, and Michael James Harmon; his parents, William G. and Jeanette (nee Creekmore) Harmon of Tonawanda; his sister, Lisa (Bruce) Kemp of Sacramento, California; and two brothers, William (Judy) Harmon, MD of Miami, Florida, and Jeffrey M. Harmon of Falls Church, Virginia. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Thursday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Broad Street in Tonawanda; the Rev. Michael Uebler officiating. Friends invited. If desired, memorials to the family for Jim's children are preferred.
