Mrs. Grace Maxine Petoskey

Special Services:
Funeral services were held on Wednesday January 28, 2009 at the Hanlin Funeral Home. Grace was laid to rest at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. Pastor John Becker delivered the funeral message and the committal prayers at the cemetery.

Grace went to be with her Lord Saturday evening January 24, 2009 while at the Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth, Grace was 79.

Grace was born on Nov. 12, 1929 and was the daughter of Evert & Bethie (Duran) Griswold. On Aug. 30, 1947 Grace married Michael (Mike) Petoskey. Mike preceeded her in death May 23, of 1981. Grace was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Vassar, and a past member of the Conrad-Wager & Keene American Leagion Auxiliary of Millington. Grace will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She leaves her family; Robert & Tish, Thomas & Brenda of FL, George & Jaime of GA, Betty & Master Sgt Paul Brown stationed in England, William & Dawn of CO, Patricia & Joseph Gualdoni Sr, Maxine & Edward Rollinger and David & Shelly Petoskey all of MI. Thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Willidean Bezinque of Lapeer MI. As well as other extended family. Gifts of remembrance in lieu of flowers can be directed to the First Presbyterian Church of Vassar or to the Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth, envelopes for both will be at the funeral home. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Petoskey family.
