Mrs. Alice J. Schell | Special Services: Funeral services were held Saturday morning February 21, 2009 at the Millington United Methodist Church. Alice was laid to rest at the Deerfield Twp. Cemetery. Pastor David Rohan delivered the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery.

| | | Alice passed from our world into God's Kingdom early Monday afternoon February 16, 2009 while the St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw Mi Alice was 89.
Alice J. Moore the daughter of Naaman & Grace (Smith) Moore was born in Dresden Ohio on Sept. 4, 1919. Alice graduated from the Dresden High School Class of 1937. She later moved with her family to Columbiaville MI. On April 12, 1941 Alice married Edward Schell, she and Ed have celebrated 67 years of marriage. Alice was a loving wife and a devoted mom, she was very active in many school functions as the kids grew up. Alice always put her family first. Alice was a long time member of the Fostoria United Methodist Church. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. She leaves her husband Ed, her children; Patsy & John Presnell, and Timothy & Linda Schell. Five grandsons Joshua Presnell, Jeremy, Tyler, Jacob, and Benjamin Schell. A sister Ethel Farnsworth, and also several nieces, nephews and other extended family and many friends. Besides her parents Alice is also preceded in death by two brothers Emmett & Ernest Moore, and a sister in-law Victoria Moore. Gifts of Remembrance can be given in memory to the Fostoria United Methodist Church, or to the Rotary Club of Millington. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Schell family with the arrangements.
