Funeral services were held Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the Millington Church of the Nazarene. George was laid to rest at the Millington Twp. Cemetery.

| | | George passed from our world into God's Kingdom early Friday morning February 27, 2009 while at the Golfside Regional Hospice Center in Dade City Florida. George was 80 years old.
George E. Arnott the son of George L. & Lulla (Roberts) Arnott was born in Bad Axe MI on April 20, 1928. George served in the US Army Calvary, after his time in the service her returned home and married Miss Elsie McDonald, he and Elsie have celebrated 57 years of marriage. George retired in 1982 from General Motors Fisher Grand Blanc Plant after working for 30 years. He was a current member of the Millington Church of the Nazarene where at one time he served the church as a Sunday School Teacher. George was also a 27 year member of the Christian Motor Cycle Club. He was an avid outdoorsman he loved to hunt and fish. George leaves; wife, Elsie, three sons; George, Ronald, and Thomas Arnott. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two brothers and sistes in-law, William & Margie, and John & Janet Arnott. A sister and brother in-law, Mildred & William Patch. George leaves also other extended family and friends. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to a charity of your choice. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Arnott family with the arrangements.
