Ronald (OX) Edler

Special Services:
Funeral services were held on Friday April 17, 2009 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Ron was laid to rest at the Millington Twp. Cemetery following the services. Pastor James Bruner delivered the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery.

Ron passed from our world into God's Kingdom early Tuesday April 14, 2009 at his residence, Ron was 72.

Ronald D. (OX) Edler was born on August 11, 1937 in Sebewaing MI and was the son of Harold & Clara (Hanschu) Edler. Ron has been a Millington resident most of his life and was a graduate from Millington High School. After high school he married Miss Lorine Schreiner, together he and Lorine have celebrated 45 years of marriage. Ron retired in 1989 from the Buick Motor Divison of General Motors. Ron leaves to cherish his memory wife Lorine, three children; daughter Kristine Steepe, two sons and a daughter in-law; David & Wendy Edler, and Shane Edler. Seven grandchildren; Justin & Austin Steepe, Rian, Megan & Garet Edler, and Shane & Santana Edler. Two sisters and a brother in-law Cheryl & Wayne Leix, and Bev. Wanamaker. Brother & sister in-law; Bruce & Wanda Edler. He leaves also his extended family; John & Carol Schreiner, Jeanette & Dennis Stange, and Clare Wheeler, Ron leaves also several nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding Ron in death are his parents, his mother and father in-law Herman & Irma Schreiner, and a sister Maddie Wheeler.
If you would like to give a Gift of Remembrance you can dos to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund, the Stephan Ministers of St. Paul, the Millington High School Football program, or to a charity of your choice. Hanlin Funeral Home assited the Edler family with the arrangements.
