Mr. John McClenathen | Special Services:
Funeral services were held at the Hanlin Funeral Home on Wednesday June 3, 2009. The burial followed at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. Pastor Goodwin Cox delivered the funeral message and closing prayers at the cemetery.

| | | John passed away early Sunday morning May 31, 2009 while at his daughters residence, John was 80 years old.
John G. McClenathen was the son of George & Flora (Irwin) McClenathan was born in Atlanta Michigan on January 24, 1929. John retired from the Flint Auto Transport Company after 20 years of employment. John leaves his wife Ruby, and his children. Five daughters; Gloria & George Rapson, Virginia & Charlie Buchner, Denice & John Glynn, Karen & Bob Sergent and Penny & Bill Wilson. Four sons; John I & Deniece McClenathen, Chuck Foster, Boyden & Carrie McClenathan, and Virgil & Chris McClenathen. He leaves also 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, as well as other extended family and friends. Besides his parents John is preceeded in death by a daughter Rosalyn Robinson, a grandson Matthew Glynn, and a brother Frank.
Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to a charity of ones choice. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the McClenathen family with the arrangements.
