Special Services:
Funeral services were held on Wednesday July 28, 2009 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. Pastor James Bruner delivered the funeral message and prayers. Eulogoies and tributes were given by his son, brother in-law and by Elaine Bickel of St. Paul Lutheran Church & School. A time of followship and a dinner followed the funeral service at the Millington Community Center. Vern passed from our world into God's Kingdom early Saturday morning July 25, 2009 while at the Good Shepherd Hospice Center in Haines City Florida. Following the funeral services cremation will take place, after which there will be a private committal service. Vern leaves his wife Donna and thier eight children. Mark, Robin, Dave, Lynette, Wendy, Tim, Todd and their spouses. as well as the grandchildren and other extended family. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting with the arrangements.
