Mr. Ernest (Ernie) Magnus | Special Services:
A Life Celebration service was held Friday August 14, 2009 at the Millington United Methodist Church. Pastor Pete Crawford delivered the eulogy and closing prayers. Hanlin Funeral assisted the Magnus family. the family honored Ernie's request and cremation has taken place.

| | | Ernest H. Magnus 92, a lifelong resident of Birch Run, Michigan, passed away on Saturday August 8th, 2009 at Covenant Health Care Cooper Campus in Saginaw Michigan. He was born November 1st, 1916. He married B. Eileen Jesfjeld of South Dakota in 1937. Beloved wife Eileen preceded him in death in 2002.
Surviving are (4) daughters Dorothy (Roy) Lankenau of Longs, SC., Judy Fleschner (Howard) of Oscoda MI., Sally (Floyd) Clark of Maryville, TN., and Virginia Cadwell of Fort Walton Beach, FL., and (2) sons Cecil (Mary) Magnus of Mt. Clemens, MI., and Marvin Magnus of Broken Arrow, OK., (20) Grandchildren, (28) Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving (2) sisters Lillian Seder of Saginaw, Francis (Harold) Eichorn of Swartz Creek, and (2) brothers Howard Magnus of Clio and Robert (Yvonne) Magnus of Indian River. A beloved daughter Marlene Clark preceded him in death as well (3) brothers Frank, Kenneth, and Clare Magnus.
Ernie had many interesting jobs which supported his family from hardware sales to, the delivery of propane tanks, draftsman at Universal Engineering, Justice of the Peach , salesman at Totten Tire Center, built 5 homes, and last but not least a School Bus Driver, a true entrepreneur.
Ernie loved woodworking, traveling, seeing his grandchildren and great grandchildren and looked forward daily to visiting his friends at McDonalds. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the family with the arrangements
