Steve passed away late Tuesday afternoon September 8, 2009 at his residence with his wife and family at his side, Steve was 52.
Steven M. Taylor the son of Donald & Phylliss (Taylor) Taylor was born in Flint Michigan on September 2, 1957. Steve was married on October 16, 1982 to Retha Cooper. She and Steve have celebrated 26 years of marriage. Steve was a supervisor for a Janitorial Company. He loved his family and spending time with family and friends was always top on his list. Steve leaves,his wife Retha, three sons, Matthew, Brian, and Marcus Taylor. His Parents, father Donald & wife Dorothy Taylor, mother Mrs. Phylliss Katona. Five brothers, Doug, Wes Taylor, Jerry Baggett, Steve & Joey Katona, five sisters, Debbie Taylor, Denice Poland, Debbie DeAugo, Jan Baggett, and Beth Sanders. Steve leaves also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Steve is preceded in death by a brother Jerry in 2004 and a grandson Logan Taylor. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Taylor family.
