| | | Joe passed away early Monday morning October 19, 2009 while at the Tender care Nursing Home in Frankenmuth, Joe was 68.
Joseph N. Babcock the son of Harry & Maxine (Sherman) Babcock and was born in Saginaw Michigan on November 13, 1940. After Joe graduated from Vassar High School he served in US Navy from 1959 to 1961. When he returned home he married Miss Verbia Hauger on October 10, 1964. Together Joe and Verbia have celebrated 45 years of marriage. Joe retired from the Eaton/Grede Industrial Foundry after 37 years of employment. Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also gave back to the community by coaching a hockey league, and a soft ball team. And in general Joe was an all around sports enthusiasts.
Joe leaves his wife Verbia, children, Robin Babcock, Tina & Tim Tempelton, Jody & Mike Brozewski, and Bridget Babcock,. His grandchildren, Joey & Treasa Kata, Joshua, and Lindsy Larson, Whitney and Marissa Tempelton, and a sister in-al Brenda Babcock. Joe also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers’ in-law, as well as other extended family. Besides his parents Joe’s also preceded in death by a great grandson Aiden Joseph Kata, and a brother Harry Babcock. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to the family.
