| Eugene Clarence Grove Jr., son of Eugene Grove Sr. and Arleta Rae Hunt Grove, was born May 7, 1952 in Perry, Iowa and died July 26, 2009 at Perry Health Care Center, Perry, Iowa at the age of 57 years, 4 months, and 4 days. Eugene attended Dawson schools until fifth grade, when he began attending Perry Schools, graduating in 1971. In 1973, he married Luann Little. They had two children together: a daughter, Laura, and a son, Chris. Eugene worked for Don’s Mobil as an attendant and did odd lawn care jobs when he was able. He enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, watching television, and decorating for the all the holidays, Christmas being his favorite. He also enjoyed spending time and playing with his granddaughter, Krista. Eugene is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his children: daughter, Laura Grove of Perry, and son, Chris Grove of Perry; one granddaughter, Krista Hines; brothers: Keith Grove (Connie) of Rock Creek and Tim Grove (Sharon) of Perry; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. | ||
