Ina M. Tibbitts, 88, of Charles City, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.
There will be no services.
Ina Minnie Ferch was born July 23, 1921, in Floyd County, the daughter of Ernest and Minnie (Schmidt) Ferch. She attended the Charles City Schools. On April 2, 1938, she was united in marriage to Burr Tibbitts in Osage. Ina was employed at Salsbury as a lab technician. Her interests included fishing, craftwork, reading, puzzles and watching NASCAR.
Living family members include her son, Gary Tibbitts of Charles City; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Lyle and Kale Tibbitts; four sisters; and eight brothers.
