| Chalmer L. “Cham” Cox, age 98 of Auburn, formerly Peru, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha. He was born January 12, 1911.
Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law Donna Morgan and husband William of Omaha, Anita Cox of Claremont, NC; sons and daughters-in-law Edward Cox and wife Phyllis of Auburn, Richard Cox and wife Debbie of Auburn; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 13, 1:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Peru. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00. Memorials suggested to family choice. | ||
