Thomas W. Weideman the son of William and Tena (Aljets) Weideman was born on March 19, 1955 in Fort Dodge, Iowa and departed this life on Monday, November 2, 2009 at Avera Holy Family Health in Estherville, Iowa after a long illness at the age of 54.


He received his education in Palmer schools, graduating from Palmer High School in 1973. After attending Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City, he married Renee Gerth at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manson, Iowa on April 12, 1986. The couple resided in Estherville where he was employed at Iowa Lakes Community College as computer network administrator for the past 25 years.

Tom was gifted in so many areas whether it be computers, carpentry, plumbing, but most of all, reconditioning Chevy pickup trucks. He and his sons have shared many hours together with this hobby with Renee and Deb also getting involved. Active until his final days, Tom will be remembered for his knowledge and many interests.

Tom is survived by his wife, Renee and children, Bob, Debbie and Joe all of Estherville. He is also survived by his beloved Aunt, Ann Dresback of Pomeroy.

He has been preceded in death by his parents.
