| Vernon Leroy Birk, son of Raymond Leroy Birk and Verna Corinne (Caulkins) Birk, was born on September 1, 1959 in Keokuk, Lee County, Iowa. In 1989, Vernon moved to the Glenwood Resource Center.
Vernon passed away on October 19, 2009 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, attaining the age of 50 years, 1 month, and 18 days. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services were held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., at Park Place in Glenwood with interment in the GRC Cemetery. | ||
